AFT Go is the Army's phone app for the fitness test. A grader records the scores on a cellphone, and those scores upload into the Soldier's official training record. The Army says that upload goes to ATIS from the training site, then into the Individual Training Record, so the same test is not typed in twice. At a July 20 test at Fort Belvoir, with the Army Geospatial Intelligence Battalion, testers said the app calculates the score and you send it with one button. Stars and Stripes reports that Soldiers will see that score before they leave the PT field.
It is not in the app stores yet. Army officials told Stars and Stripes the launch on Apple and Google is the first quarter of fiscal 2027, October through December 2026. They did not name a day. The Army's own release calls the Army-wide rollout fall 2026. Same season. No date you can put on a training schedule.
You don't have to wait on the app to grade a test. The grader assistant on this site already times the events and scores up to four Soldiers on the lane. It's free, it opens in the browser, and there's nothing to download. It is not AFT Go, and it will not send a score to the Army. You still file the record the way your unit requires. The scoring part is already easy.
