Is My MOS on the List?

If your MOS or AOC appears above, you must pass the CFT to maintain your MOS qualification. A few things worth knowing:

  • You take both tests. The CFT does not replace the AFT — it is taken in addition to it. Combat-MOS Soldiers must pass both.
  • Standards are identical for everyone on the list. Age and gender are not factored into CFT pass/fail. Combat doesn't adjust for demographics, and neither does this test.
  • Voluntary reclass option (April 2026 – April 2027). During the diagnostic year, Soldiers who determine they cannot meet the standard can request voluntary reclassification to a non-combat MOS without record damage.
  • After April 2027: a record CFT failure results in Flag Code C and may trigger mandatory reclassification.
  • Permanent profiles that prevent the CFT require a waiver from the first General Officer in your chain of command.
